Dr. James A. Spudich is the Douglass M. and Nola Leishman Professor of Cardiovascular Disease in the Department of Biochemistry, Stanford University School of Medicine. He has been awarded the 2011 Lasker Award.
He is a Collaborative Chair at inStem and is the leader of the Cardiomyopathy project.
