About the Symposium:
The Tata institute for Genetics and Society (TIGS) Center at inStem, Bangalore is organizing a Symposium entitled “New Tools and Technologies for Health and Agriculture” between October 24-26, 2018 at inStem, Bangalore. The TIGS Inaugural Symposium will highlight the latest technologies being developed in different model organisms, their mechanisms of action and their potential applications for societal benefit. The meeting will also discuss how best to address societal, ethical and policy issues governing the use of new technologies.
The TIGS Inaugural Symposium is unique in that it focuses on the newest technologies with huge potential for transformational positive impact on human health, agriculture and the environment.
