Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine ( is an Autonomous Institution under the aegis of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India invites applications for One post of Section Officer.

Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (inStem) along with National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) & Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) forms the Bangalore Bio-cluster. At an appropriate point, the incumbent may be entrusted the responsibility of overseeing the management functions of the cluster institutions.

Qualification & Experience criteria:


  1. Graduate with experience of working in networked/computerized environment.

  2. Must have worked in GP 4600 (level-7) for 4 years or 4200 (level-6) for 8 years (or equivalent with experience of working in a similar set up.


  1. Graduate with MBA (HR/Finance) with experience in a reputed academic and/or research environment.

AGE LIMIT: Below 30 years for Direct recruitment and 56 Years for Deputation.

Scale of Pay: PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800 (Level 8 of 7th CPC).

NATURE OF APPOINTMENT: Direct Recruitment with probation for 1 year/Deputation failing which by promotion.
